Voting to elect five (5) RANZCP Directors is open and closes at 5.00 pm AEDT on 31 March 2026.
Election candidates
Nine nominations have been received from the Fellowship to fill five vacant Elected Director positions on the RANZCP Board. Following a double-blind draw by CorpVote, the College’s election provider, the candidates are as follows:

Ballot information
Ballot information has been emailed to College Fellows by CorpVote (the RANZCP’s election provider). This email includes an individual Voter Access Code, voting instructions, count method, and an Explanatory Memorandum.
If you are a Fellow and have not received information from CorpVote, please contact the College via board.elections@ranzcp.org or CorpVote via support@corpvote.com.au. The CorpVote email may be received in your spam/junk email folder and some health service email addresses may apply filters which results in the email not being received. Check your spam/junk email folder, speak with your IT team, or contact the College to provide an alternative email address.
Making an informed voting decision
Fellow’s participation in the Board elections is vital to ensuring that the voices and perspectives of our membership are reflected at the highest levels of decision making. This is an important moment for every Fellow to engage, stay informed, and prepare to cast their vote. By taking part, Fellow’s contribute directly to the continued strength, integrity, and direction of our College.
Before voting, all Fellows are encouraged to review each candidate and to reflect on the skills, readiness, and commitment required of Directors to make an informed voting decision.
Election campaigning
Election campaigning has commenced. The permitted campaigning methods are outlined in the Board Election Campaign Activities Policy and all campaigning must be undertaken in accordance with the Policy.
Candidates are expected to campaign within responsible, sensible limits, and to ensure a spirit of collegiality and essential fairness prevails. Campaigning is to be undertaken with member privacy in mind. The Social media guideline provides guidance on appropriate standards of behaviour and professionalism when using social media.
Complaints received by the RANZCP in relation to the election will be dealt with confidentially via the Company Secretary.
Elected Director positions
The Board consists of the President, President-Elect, five Elected Directors, and a Trainee Appointed Director. To fulfill Constitutional requirements, at least one Fellow from New Zealand must be a Director of the Board.
Elected Director position terms are for a duration of two-years, which commences at the RANZCP Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday 6 May 2026.

Key dates
- Voting opens: Monday 2 March 2026 at 12.01am AEDT
- Voting closes: Tuesday 31 March 2026 at 5.00pm AEDT
- Results announced to membership: by Friday 10 April
- Results declared during AGM: Wednesday 6 May 2026
