New Fellowship Program Taskforce
The New Fellowship Program Taskforce is responsible for setting the strategic direction and developing the high-level design of a new Fellowship program for psychiatrists across Australia and New Zealand.
As part of this work, the Taskforce is creating a prototype for the program, which will define its vision, guiding principles, and overall training structure. This includes consideration of core competencies, course delivery methods, mandatory training experiences, assessment, and criteria for progression through each stage of training.
To inform the prototype, the Taskforce is reviewing recent surveys, external evaluations, curriculum reviews, and member feedback. It is also benchmarking against specialist medical colleges both nationally and internationally.
