Trainee grants
Grants available to trainees in the Fellowship Program:
- RANZCP Indigenous Financial Support Scheme
Up to A$6000 per calendar year is available to assist Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and/or Māori and/or Pasifika psychiatry traineeswith the costs of attaining Fellowship. - Back to Country grants
A financial contribution of $3000 (inc GST) to support Aboriginal and / or Torres Strait Islander trainees to return to Country for cultural responsibilities, to visit family or community and for wellbeing at any stage of their training. - Military and Veterans’ Psychiatry Training Program educational grants
Grants available of up to A$3,000 for trainees in MVPTP funded posts to support specific educational activities including lectures and seminars by Phoenix Australia and the Australian Defence Force (ADF), state-based conferences or coaching for exam preparation. - Rural Educational Grants for trainees in STP-funded posts
Grants available of up to $1,500 for trainees in STP funded posts and Psychiatry Workforce Program funded posts located in rural areas, to access educational programs related to their RANZCP training.
