The Lived Experience Australia Award for Best Practice in Consumer and Carer Inclusion
This award is offered each year by Lived Experience Australia for the best reflection submitted by a psychiatry trainee who has completed all five Collaboration, Communication and Cooperation between Health Professionals (CCCHP) on-line modules in Learnit.
Eligibility criteria
The Lived Experience Australia Award for Best Practice in Consumer and Carer Inclusion is available to all current psychiatry trainees who have completed all five CCCHP modules, noted below, in Learnit and who complete a reflective submission.
- Lived Experience Australia - Module 1: Consumer and Carer Involvement
- Lived Experience Australia - Module 2: Continuity of Care
- Lived Experience Australia - Module 3: Communication
- Lived Experience Australia - Module 4: Cooperation (Roles & Responsibilities)
- Lived Experience Australia - Module 5: Collaboration
Application process
Eligible trainees must submit a 500–750 word reflection addressing the following:
- Summarise what you have learned from the modules
- Describe how you will/have change(d) your clinical practice on the basis of what you have learned
- Suggest any content you feel would be useful for future modules

Submissions are open annually, from 1 September to 31 October (11.59 pm AEDT).
