Connell Werry Prize
The Prize honours Professor John Werry and Associate Professor Helen Connell, who were pioneers in the field of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in New Zealand and Australia.
Eligibility criteria
This Prize is awarded to an Advanced Trainee in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry for the most outstanding paper or poster presented at the Faculty of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry conference.
Application process
Advanced Trainees who meet the criteria and whose abstracts are accepted for presentation at the Faculty of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry’s Annual Conference will be automatically considered.
Form of Award
The Prize includes:
- A$1000 to be spent attending a conference in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry.
- A framed award certificate
- An invitation to accept the award at the College Ceremony during Congress.
Key dates
Submissions are open annually, from 1 September to 31 October (11.59 pm AEDT).
