RANZCP Foundation Partners PhD Scholarship

The RANZCP Foundation Partners PhD Scholarship is designed to encourage and support PhD research in psychiatry by RANZCP members.

You may be at any stage of your PhD, and your research does not need to focus on a specific sub-specialty or area within psychiatry.

This scholarship is supported by the RANZCP Foundation and generous contributions from RANZCP Foundation Partners.

Value

One scholarship will be offered in 2027. Value up to A$60,000 payable over two years.

Eligibility

To apply, you must be:

• a current RANZCP Fellow, Affiliate, or trainee
• enrolled, or provide evidence of future enrolment as a PhD candidate in psychiatric research at an Australian or Aotearoa New Zealand tertiary institution.

Key dates

Applications will reopen July 1 2027.

Use of funds

The Scholarship funds can be used for stipend support, research expenses or a combination of both.
