Back to Country Grant
The Back to Country Grants provide a financial contribution of up to A$5,000 to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander trainees to return to Country for cultural responsibilities, family obligations, and to reconnect with culture and community for personal wellbeing and to avoid burnout.
Eligibility
These grants are available to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander trainees at any Stage of the psychiatry training program.
Key dates
One grant is available per applicant for the 2026 training year.
