The RANZCP Foundation is pleased to offer four PhD scholarships that support emerging researchers and strengthen the future of psychiatric research.

Trisno Family PhD Scholarship
You only need to submit one application to be considered for all four scholarships.
The Trisno Family PhD Scholarship is designed to encourage and support PhD research in psychiatry by RANZCP members and is supported by the Trisno Family. This scholarship is valued at up to $60,000.
Purpose
To encourage and support PhD research in psychiatry by RANZCP members.
Value
One scholarship of up to A$60,000.
Eligibility
RANZCP Fellow, Affiliate or Trainee (Associate) members.
Key dates
Applications open July 1 and close August 31 2026.

You only need to complete one application form to be considered for all available PhD scholarship opportunities.

You can start your application, save your progress and return to it at any time before the closing date.
You will need the following documents to complete your application:
- Curriculum vitae
- Proof of ethics approval, or evidence that an ethics application is pending
- At least two letters of support from different referees, supervisors or research group leaders
