Membership subscription fee schedule

Payment deadlines
Fees must be paid by the due date or late fees may apply.

Training fees
Fees for both the Fellowship Training Program and Certificates of Advanced Training are calculated based on the number of months of training recorded in InTrain.
Update your FTE in InTrain [login required] to ensure your fees are calculated correctly.

*Those on an approved break for the full training year, and Fellows with 24 FTE months of advanced training with requirements still outstanding, fall under Band E fee category (0–2.99 months).
Training fees are due by 30 June.

You can apply to pay your membership or training fees in instalments.

Instalment applications for other fee types are currently closed.
Reduced rates for membership and training fees
You can apply for a reduction in training or membership fees if you:
- have, or are caring for someone with, a serious medical condition
- are working one day a week or less
- are on parental leave (see below)
- are experiencing severe financial hardship
- have other extenuating circumstances.
Reduced fees are granted one calendar year at a time.

Reduced rates for overseas members
If you are a RANZCP Fellow and reside out of Australia/Aotearoa New Zealand for at least 75% of a subscription year (1 January–31 December), you may be entitled to pay the overseas member rate for that year. Apply by 31 March.

Fee exemptions for long-standing Fellows
Fellows aged 65 or older who have been a RANZCP Fellow for at least 30 years can apply for an exemption from further membership fees ('Exempt Fellow' status). Apply by 31 March.

67 per cent of membership fees are invested in College activities, services and benefits that support and strengthen nearly 9,000 psychiatrists and those in training across Australia and New Zealand.
Audited financial reports are included in the Financial Report each year.
