RANZCP Trainee Exit Survey renamed as RANZCP Fellowship Attainment Survey from 2026

Trainee news
The RANZCP is pleased to announce that, from 2026, the Trainee Exit Survey will be officially renamed the RANZCP Fellowship Attainment Survey.
The updated title more accurately reflects the survey’s purpose: to collect feedback from both trainees and Specialist International Medical Graduates (SIMGs) who complete their Fellowship training or pathway requirements between January and December each year. While the survey has always included both groups, the previous name suggested it reflected only trainees' experiences in the training program. The new name ensures that the survey’s scope is clear and inclusive.
This change was approved by the Committee for Educational Evaluation, Monitoring and Reporting (CEEMR), which oversees the survey and its implementation. CEEMR’s endorsement ensures that the survey continues to meet its objectives in monitoring and improving the Fellowship program experience.
The new name will be reflected in all reports, on the RANZCP website, and in survey invitations from 2026 onwards. Participants will see the updated name when they are invited to complete the survey after meeting the requirements for Fellowship.
The survey continues to play a vital role in identifying strengths and areas for improvement, supporting high-quality training, and recognising all Fellows.
