Have your say: Trainee feedback invited on the New Fellowship Program
5 Jun 2026
Training news
The New Fellowship Program Taskforce warmly invites all College trainees to join a virtual focus group and share your thoughts on the New Fellowship Program.
The focus groups will be held on:
Option 1: Thursday 18 June 2026 1–2 pm AEST led by Professor Andrew Teodorczuk (Executive Dean of Education)
Option 2: Wednesday 8 July 11.15 am – 12.15 pm AEST led by Associate Professor Simon Stafrace (NFPT Chair)
This is an opportunity for open discussion about the New Fellowship Program and to ensure trainee perspectives are heard. You will be able to share feedback on the emerging program prototype and help shape a program that will influence training, practice, and the experience of future Fellows.
This engagement will test key design elements, identify risks and practical constraints, and help ensure the program reflects contemporary psychiatric practice across a range of settings. The feedback gathered will be used to refine the draft New Fellowship Program before final design recommendations are made.
If you are interested in participating in one of the focus groups, please email newfellowshipprogram@ranzcp.org with your preferred date and we will send you a meeting invite.
We encourage all trainees to attend, ask questions, and share your views.
