Rural Director of Training initiative: expressions of interest
16 Jun 2022
The RANZCP welcomes expressions of interest for a new Rural Director of Training (Rural DoT) position.
Successful positions will be contracted from August 2022 to August 2024.
Items to note:
- There are three positions available within Australia.
- The Rural DoT positions will be dedicated to a specified geographical area (this can be across states/territories but does not need to be a whole state/territory).
This initiative is funded by the Department of Health Flexible Approach to Training in Expanded Settings (FATES) program. The funding supports a co-funded roll-out of Rural DoT positions for local health jurisdictions to create a network of Rural DoTs in Australia. Further information about the priorities and expected outcomes are available in the initiative guidelines.
