The College has established three new policies to strengthen transparency and consistency in how changes to education and training are managed, implemented and communicated.
These are:
- Change Management Policy
- Consultation and Engagement Policy
- Crisis and Urgent Change Management Policy
These policies have been informed by extensive stakeholder consultation, including significant contributions from trainee committees and other key committees. We thank all members and staff who have contributed their time and thoughtful feedback during this process.
Together, they establish a consistent framework for managing and communicating changes that affect education and training. They also set expectations around meaningful consultation and establish parameters for notice periods, including a minimum 12-month notice period for changes to the Fellowship training program.
By establishing clear processes and expectations, the policies aim to support a more transparent and consistent experience for trainees, supervisors and other stakeholders when changes are introduced.
