Introducing the RANZCP Gender Equity and Private Practice awards

The College is pleased to introduce two new awards as part of our 2027 awards and recognition program.

The RANZCP Gender Equity Award has been established to recognize and celebrate RANZCP members who demonstrate outstanding innovative and/or sustained change towards improving or championing gender equity in psychiatry and psychiatric practice. It is open to all members, including trainees and specialist international medical graduates.

The RANZCP Private Practice Award recognises a Fellow of the RANZCP who has made an exceptional contribution to private practice psychiatry through excellence in clinical service, innovation, advocacy, entrepreneurship, leadership or community reach, acknowledging the diverse ways in which psychiatrists advance patient care and strengthen the private practice sector.

Applications and nominations for both awards will be open from 1 October to 30 November.
