RANZCP Strategic Plan consultation

As the College heads into its 80th year in 2026, we aim to build on our legacy with a strategic eye to the future for psychiatrists and the communities we care for.

The College operates in a dynamic strategic landscape with significant complexity. In adopting a consultative approach to the development of our next Strategic Plan, we are keen to hear from all our stakeholders to better understand what we need to address (challenges or opportunities) as well as ideas on how we do so.  

We are keen to understand perspectives on: 

1. What is happening across our strategic landscape? And what does it mean for the College?
2. How is the College performing?
3. What are priorities (challenges or opportunities) to address over the next 5 years?
4. What does the College look like in 2030 (and beyond)?
5. Where does it need to evolve? How ambitious should it be?
6. Does our current Vision statement resonate? Is it compelling enough?
7. Do we have the right priorities and initiatives? Do they emphasise the right things?
