Associate Professor Campbell Paul

Assoc Prof Campbell Paul is a Consultant Psychiatrist at the Royal Children’s and Royal Women’s Hospitals Melbourne, the University of Melbourne, and the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute. He works in hospital and community infant mental health and helped establish the University of Melbourne Masters course in infant mental health in 1997, and in Victoria the first statewide children’s mental health service for Australian First Nations children. He has a special interest in the inner world of the infant and young child and in infant-parent psychotherapy and the collaborations between infant and perinatal mental health.

He is a founding member of the Australian Association for Infant Mental Health, Newborn Behaviour Observation Australasia, and a founding member of the Australian IMH Association and of WAIMH for many years and is the Past President of WAIMH.
