We are pleased to share with you the RANZCP 2025 Annual Review and 2025 Financial Review.
The Annual Review provides a comprehensive overview of the College’s work across education, training and continuing professional development, advocacy for the profession, and support for members.
It highlights our commitment to reconciliation and advancing First Nations mental health, our strengthening partnership with lived and living experience, the impactful work of the RANZCP Foundation, and the achievements of members recognised throughout the year.
We thank our members and staff for their dedication, expertise and integrity, which continue to shape and strengthen the College.

The Financial Review reflects continued progress, with a reduced operating deficit of $128,145 in 2025, compared to $599,605 in 2024.
Key achievements over the past year include:
- Strong membership growth, with 417 new Fellows and 429 new trainees joining the Fellowship pathway.
- Establishing a meaningful pathway for longstanding Affiliate members to attain Fellowship.
- Extending the Early Career Psychiatrists membership period from five to seven years.
- Expanding the Associate membership category to include all Specialist International Medical Graduates (SIMGs), enabling broader access to College supports.
- Establishing the New Fellowship Program Taskforce to guide whole of-program reform.
- Launching a landmark Lived and Living Experience Strategy, with 41 committed actions.
- Strengthening our public and policy voice on critical issues like workforce sustainability, policy reform relating to ADHD diagnosis and treatment, and equitable accessible to psychiatric care.
- Establishing key strategic groups, including the LGBTIQA+ Mental Health Steering Group, Planetary Health, Mental Health Advisory Group, and the International Strategy Development Taskforce.
