Update
- Culturally safe practice
The RANZCP Cultural Safety Training Plan Steering Group has adapted cultural safety resources developed by the Council of Medical Colleges to reflect both the Australian and Aotearoa New Zealand contexts.
The first resource, Cultural Safety Training Module 1: Cultural Safety Self-Reflection Tool, is now available on Learnit.
This self-guided tool supports practitioners to develop critical self-awareness, reflect on their own perspectives and biases, and identify opportunities for strengthening culturally safe practice. Revisited over time, it can also help track personal growth and progress in applying cultural safety practice.
The self-reflection tool can now be counted towards CPD requirements.
Additional cultural safety resources are currently in development and due to be released soon.
