Policy and advocacy

Our policy work often requires specialised knowledge and input from the Victorian membership.

This includes:

  • responding to consultations
  • preparing submissions
  • developing policy documents
  • advocating to stakeholders on behalf of the Victorian Branch.

If you have questions regarding activity or are keen to raise an issue or concern regards the Royal Commission into Victoria’s Mental Health System recommendations - or other areas pertinent to Victorian mental health; help and support can be provided through several RANZCP resources. There are also frequent opportunities to contribute to arising submissions or to participate in consultations.

Knowing what is important to you helps our advocacy and engagement with stakeholders in the wider mental health sector. Email the Victorian Branch Policy & Advocacy Advisor to get involved.
