Joanne Isbister

Joanne (She/Her) is a Clinical Genetic Counsellor at the Royal Melbourne Hospital Genomic Medicine and Familial Cancer Clinic and the Perinatal and Women’s Mental Health service at Monash Health. She has a specialist interest in psychiatric genomics and genetic counselling, and her research identified a significant gap in local genetics services in meeting the needs of this patient group. Joanne would ultimately would like to see individuals (and their families) receive equitable access to expert psychiatric genetic counselling and services across Australia.
