Dr Chris Henry

Dr Henry is a proud Walbunja man from Yuin country, and a RANZCP Stage 2 Indigenous psychiatry registrar.
His career goal is to undergo further training and become a psychiatrist working in the rural health sector. He has undertaken most of his clinical placement in rural hospitals and is passionate about rural and Indigenous health.

Chris sees himself having a long career working in rural and regional Australia. In 2025 he received the RANZCP Foundation Gamadji Nanggit Scholarship to study the AMA Emerging Leader Professional Development Program and the AMA Leadership Coaching Program.
He is committed to becoming a leader in Indigenous health with a focus on mental health in rural communities and believes that with his vast experience, Dr Henry has much to offer the RANZCP ATSI board.
