RANZCP is developing a new, time limited pathway for New Zealand Affiliate members who may be eligible to seek Fellowship status.

A significant number of NZ Affiliate members make an important contribution to psychiatric training and the health care system, but are not currently eligible to hold Fellowship. This proposed pathway is intended to recognise that contribution and support appropriate access to Fellowship, subject to final approval and assessment requirements.

It is anticipated that applications for eligible NZ Affiliates would open in the second half of 2026. Further information about eligibility, assessment requirements and application processes will be shared as details are confirmed.
