Section of Social, Cultural and Rehabilitation Psychiatry
The Section of Social, Cultural and Rehabilitation Psychiatry (SSCRP) is an RANZCP group that promotes the highest standards in the consideration of social and cultural aspects of psychiatry in clinical practice, training and research.

Social, cultural and rehabilitation psychiatry
Social, cultural and rehabilitation psychiatry focuses on social and cultural impacts on mental health, and the consideration of social and cultural factors in psychiatric treatment.
The Section aims to:
- promote the objectives of the College in consideration of social and cultural aspects of psychiatry
- advise on social and cultural considerations in psychiatric training
- advance and disseminate research on social and cultural considerations in psychiatry
- contribute to and promote the highest standards of clinical practice.
