In this webinar, Warren Ward will provide an overview and excerpts from his upcoming book, Renourish: A Complete and Compassionate Guide to Recovery from Eating Disorders.
Renourish was co-authored with Lexi Crouch, who recovered from severe and longstanding anorexia nervosa. In this session, Warren will explain the reasons for the current epidemic of eating disorders and provide an easy-to-understand overview of the steps to recovery from all eating disorders.
These steps include re-setting the brain to reverse the effects of brain starvation and break OCD-like eating disorder behavior loops, understanding how the various body organs go into 'low-power mode' if undernourished, restoring physical health, and developing a kinder, more balanced relationship with oneself through psychotherapy and right-hemisphere recovery techniques.
