In-personAn evening that begins by the ocean...
Set inside the historic Kidogo Arthouse at Bathers Beach, with the Indian Ocean just steps from the door, the 2026 WA Branch Annual Dinner will bring together trainees, new Fellows, early career psychiatrists and longstanding members for an evening celebrating the people who make our WA Branch what it is.
Arrive from 6.00 pm for bubbly and canapés on Kidogo’s timber deck overlooking the Indian Ocean, as the sun begins to set over Bathers Beach. Setting the scene for the evening will be award-winning Western Australian country singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Kate Hindle, performing live against one of Fremantle’s most spectacular coastal backdrops.
We’ll then move inside the beautiful heritage limestone Arthouse for a three-course dinner, live music and an evening celebrating our colleagues, their achievements and connections that bring us together.
Throughout the evening, we’ll recognise some very special milestones; welcoming our newest WA Fellows, celebrating the recipient of the Meritorious Service Award, and honouring members who have reached remarkable 40- and 50-year milestones with the College.
And once the accolades conclude, the evening changes gear: dessert arrives, the lights dim, the music turns up and the dance floor opens.
We'd particularly love to see our new Fellows and early career psychiatrists there! The relationships that sustain a career don't all begin in hospitals, committee rooms or conference sessions.
Sometimes they begin over dinner. On a deck overlooking the ocean. Or in a conversation with someone you might otherwise never have had the opportunity to meet.
Whether you're a trainee, newly Fellowed, early career, mid-career or have decades of College membership behind you, there is a place for you at the table.
