The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists Victorian Branch is delighted to present the 2026 Victorian Branch Annual Weekend Conference.

Join us to network with colleagues, update your professional knowledge, whilst experiencing the sights of central Victoria.

The Conference will be held at RACV Goldfields Resort, Friday afternoon13 November to Sunday early afternoon 15 November 2026. Nestled in the Creswick State Forest, the resort is designed to foster deeper networking and relaxation. Between sessions, you will have full access to the resort’s premium amenities, including the heated pool, fitness centre, and championship golf course. A 20-minute drive takes you to Hepburn and Daylesford, a rejuvenating outing offering a bathing mineral spa, gourmet food outlets, charming regional art and many native walking tracks or gardens.

Trainee and Early Career Town Hall Workshops

Friday afternoon will feature dedicated Trainee and Early Career Psychiatrists Town Hall sessions. These are intended to provide a platform for Trainees and Early Career Psychiatrists to discuss the challenges and opportunities they are faced with. They are followed by a panel discussion on Leadership and the future of Psychiatry.

  • Trainee OR Early Career Town Hall Session followed by a leadership workshop and panel discussion
  • Welcome BBQ: 7pm Friday 13 November
  • Conference sessions: Saturday 14 November, including lunch, morning and afternoon tea
  • Conference dinner: Saturday 14 November
  • Conference sessions: Sunday 15 November (half day), including morning tea and lunch

Accommodation

Accommodation is not included in the conference registration fee and can be booked by calling the resort on (03) 5345 9600 and quoting RANZCP, or online via the link below.

Please note:

  • The system defaults to 2 adults, if needed, update this field on the form to apply the lower single occupancy price.
  • A deposit of one night’s accommodation on credit card is processed at time of booking. Any cancellations of room night bookings within 48 hours of arrival date will incur a cancellation fee of one night’s accommodation.
  • Full payment of accommodation and incidentals will be processed on check out.

Cancellation policy

Attendee cancellation - change of mind

Change of mind cancellations must be made in writing to ranzcp.vic@ranzcp.org. Cancellation requests made up to 30 October 2026 will receive a refund minus an administration fee of $75. Any cancellations made after this date will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Attendee cancellation - medical

The health and safety of attendees is our highest priority. The RANZCP requests that any attendee who is feeling unwell or has cold/flu like symptoms does not attend the Conference.  If, on medical grounds, you are unable to attend, you must cancel your attendance in writing by email to ranzcp.vic@ranzcp.org. A full refund will be provided.
