In-personThe Queensland Branch offers a warm welcome to our newest Fellows of the College and to also recognise those achieving milestones in Fellowship.
New Fellows and Fellows reaching 40 and 50 years of Fellowship will have their achievement acknowledged by the local Branch in front of their family, friends and peers when they will be presented and formally acknowledged.
Dr Frances Dark will be presenting "The pride of Queensland: mental health rehabilitation".

Associate Professor Frances Dark
Dr Frances Dark is a leading psychiatrist, researcher and mental health educator with more than 30 years' experience in psychiatry and mental health services. She is Director of Rehabilitation at Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services, Director of the Statewide Deafness and Mental Health Service, and Associate Professor at The University of Queensland.
Dr Dark is recognised for her leadership in innovative mental health programs, psychiatric education and research, with more than 94 peer-reviewed publications and over $6.4 million in research grant funding. She was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in 2022 for her service to psychiatry and is a recipient of the Ian Simpson Award for her outstanding contribution to clinical psychiatry and the community.

Cancellation policy
There is no cancellation policy as this is a free event. Cancellations must be made no later than the 1 November 2026. If you are unable to attend please let us know ASAP.
