Work locations
Our head office is located in Melbourne, Victoria, however you can also base yourself at one of our Branches around Australia or in our National New Zealand office. We have offices in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Canberra and Wellington, NZ as well as hybrid working arrangements available for all staff.
Monthly Rostered Day Off
The RANZCP is committed to your mental and physical wellbeing and provides opportunities to achieve a healthy work-life balance. We offer a monthly rostered day off work to all eligible employees (pro-rata for part-time). No additional hours in excess of our 37.5hr working week need to be worked to qualify for the monthly rostered day off.
Reduced work week
Work hours are 37.5 hours per week for full time employees. Normal business hours are between 8.30am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, including a one-hour lunch break.
Paid parental leave
We support developing families with 12 weeks paid parental leave for both primary and secondary carers following a qualifying 12-months employment with the College.
Personal (sick and carer’s) leave
You will be eligible for 10 days paid personal leave accessible from your start date.
Annual leave
You will be eligible for four weeks annual leave each year which starts accruing from your start date.
Leave loading
You will receive 17.5% annual leave loading, paid in a lump sum in the first pay period of December each year.
Cultural leave
Employees of Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and Māori descent can access 5 days paid cultural leave each year to observe religious, ceremonial or culturally significant days.
Family and domestic violence leave
Any employee who is experiencing family and domestic violence leave can access 10 days paid leave each year.
Extra-long service leave
The RANZCP offers 13 weeks’ long service leave following 10 years of service.
