Submission of documents date
The SIMGE team needs to receive your correctly completed application, completed Referee Reports and any outstanding documentation by the relevant Submission of documents date in order to progress your application to the National Assessment Panel.
This is so the SIMGE team has enough time to check your application for completeness and contact your nominated referees to return their Referee Reports.
- If your application is incomplete at the Submission of Documents date, it cannot be considered for that round of assessments.
- Any outstanding documentation or an incorrectly completed application form will render your application incomplete.
Please note: even though your documentation may be complete by the relevant Submission of Documents date, it does not guarantee a secured place in your preferred assessment round. Places in each assessment round are limited and there is a cap on numbers based on the availability of National Assessment Panel members.
Fees
All fees must be received at the College before an application can progress for assessment. Should there be any outstanding fees after your application is checked for completeness, the SIMGE team will notify you via email and provide a final deadline for payment.
Assessment round allocation
Once your application is reviewed and considered complete, we will be better placed to advise exactly when it can be assessed by the National Assessment Panel.
Places in each assessment round are limited. Candidates are prioritised in accordance with the date of receipt of a complete application.
Should a place become available in an earlier assessment round due to a cancellation, we will notify you.
Interviews
Interviews for each round will be conducted on one day.
The date and time of the interview will depend on the availability of the Panel members.
You will be given the date and time of your interview when you receive your Summary of Preliminary Review (SPR) letter.
Interview dates are unable to be changed if you are unavailable. We recommend you keep this period free of other commitments until you know the interview date and time.
