Dr Michael Moore
Michael is a psychiatrist and psychoanalytic psychotherapist. As well as his private psychotherapy practice of treatment and supervision, he has an ongoing VMO appointment in public psychiatry, supervising SLHD registrars with their psychodynamic training cases for over 20 years. His psychoanalytic training was with NSWIPP; as a Member, he has been President and, until recently, the longstanding Chair of Training. For the RANZCP, he has been on the executive of the Advanced Training in the Psychotherapies in NSW for many years. He has had many roles within the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Association of Australasia including a past Chair of the Training Committee that oversaw the inclusion of trainees/candidates to the annual Conference. He teaches for the RANZCP, HETI, SLHD, and NSWIPP.
