The Hon Justice Elizabeth Wilson

Justice Wilson is a graduate of the Queensland University of Technology—Bachelor of Laws (Honours). Justice Wilson was admitted as a barrister of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 1996. She was appointed Senior Counsel in 2011. 
Justice Wilson served as a sessional member of the Anti-Discrimination Tribunal from 2006-09 and the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal from 2009–11. Her Honour was counsel assisting in the Queensland Floods Commission of Inquiry from 2011–12 and senior counsel for the State of Queensland in the Barrett Adolescent Centre Commission of Inquiry from 2015–16) and Youth Detention Review in 2016. 
Before being appointed, her Honour was chair of the Bar Association’s Criminal Law Committee since 2014. Her Honour was also a member of the Supreme Court Library Committee and a councillor of the Incorporated Council of Law Reporting Queensland in 2017.
Justice Wilson was appointed a judge of the Supreme Court of Queensland (Trial Division) on 3 December 2018. In 2020, Justice Wilson was also appointed to the Mental Health Court of Queensland and was elevated to President in 2022.
