Update
The RANZCP Supervisor Handbook is designed to provide supervisors with comprehensive knowledge on various subjects, covering a wide range of topics and essential tools to support excellence in the supervisory role.
The updated handbook is tailored to help supervisors navigate key supervisory responsibilities, enhance leadership skills, and stay aligned with the RANZCP policies and best practices.
What’s new?
- A ‘definitions of supervision’ section including remote supervision
- A ‘principles of supervision’ section to highlight supervision as a relationship based on principles of inclusivity and mutual respect and a strength-based approach
- The updated examination policies
- A webpage link to supervision roles against CanMEDs framework
- A redesigned outlook for more modern, polished, and easy to follow guide
The College is currently developing supervisor e-learning modules to compliment the Handbook. Module 1 titled 'Welcome and overview' is now available for all supervisors to access online here: Supervisor Learning Path Module 1: Welcome and overview.
