Tasmania Branch hosts renowned Travelling Scholar, Professor Perminder Sachdev
24 Jul 2023
The Tasmania Branch would like to thank Scientia Professor Perminder Sachdev, our 2023 Travelling Scholar for his much-anticipated visit to Tasmania in June. Professor Sachdev presented on topics of interest such as neuropsychiatry, dementia research and the current state of tardive dyskinesia.
Four presentations were held across Hobart, Launceston and Burnie, including a forum for stage 1 and 2 registrars. Over 70 members attended in person, plus more than 25 members joined the live stream.
The Branch made a significant investment to bring such a high value speaker to our state and it was impressive to see such a large turnout, providing the opportunity for networking amongst peers. Thank you to all those who made this event a success.
