CPD opportunity: Become an assessor in 2024!

The College is inviting Fellows to apply to become an examiner for the Clinical Competency Assessment – Modified Portfolio Review (CCA – MPR) in 2024.
Participating assessors can earn CPD hours for calibration workshops and the marking process.
Examiners play a pivotal role in ensuring a reliable and equitable assessment process, dedicating their expertise on a pro bono basis.
To be eligible, you must:
- Have a minimum of two years as a RANZCP Fellow.
- Have a working knowledge and be familiar with the current RANZCP Training and Assessment Regulations and principles of the curriculum framework.
- Experience working as a RANZCP-accredited SIMG/trainee supervisor.
As an examiner, your responsibilities will include:
- Participating in calibration workshops
- Participating in the online portfolio review meetings for each Cohort.
- Providing relevant feedback during the Portfolio Review assessments.
- Evaluating the reliability and validity of the marking process.
A calibration workshop (online) is scheduled for Wednesday, 14 February 2024 at 2 pm AEDT. Portfolio Review assessments will start in April 2024.
