Australian Medical Association reports on prescriptions, public and private health

  This report provides an overview of the state of the public hospital system in Australia, and outlines recommendations to the Commonwealth Government. 
• 2023 federal budget submission on private health
  The AMA’s 2023 pre-budget submission focuses on recommended reforms to the Australian private health system to ensure value for money for PHI consumers. 
• You deserve more - pharmacy prescribing campaign

This report outlines the AMA’s campaign advocating against autonomous pharmacy prescribing, and calls on federal, state, and territory governments to take action on this issue.
