In 2022, RANZCP initiated a comprehensive review to enhance the development of CPGs for psychiatry in Australia and Aotearoa/New Zealand. The review's results have led to a new strategy for CPGs, approved by the RANZCP Board.

This strategy focuses on securing funding for CPGs, including seeking federal government support, and increasing collaboration with non-government organizations and academic institutions. The aim is to ensure these guidelines are effectively integrated into clinical practice.

This webinar features:

  • Dr Warren Kealy-Bateman, Board Member and Chair of the Practice Policy and Partnerships Committee.
  • Dr Michael Daubney, Chair of the Committee for Evidence-Based Practice.
  • Prof Valsa Eapen, Chair of the Bi-national Faculty of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Committee.
  • Prof Sharon Lawn, Executive Director of Lived Experience

They discuss the College's new direction for CPGs, highlighting practical steps and goals.

Learn about these important changes and how they will impact the field of psychiatry.
