In-personThe inaugural Northern Territory Rural Readiness workshop (10 - 11 October, 2025) in Darwin is an exciting opportunity for trainees and Specialist International Medical Graduates (SIMG) to establish and expand the skills necessary to engage in rural practice.
The workshop will feature an evening networking event on Friday 10 October, followed by the all-day interactive workshop on Saturday 11 October. This one-day workshop will allow you to network with peers, enhance preparedness for training and practice in a rural location and build an understanding of psychiatry in rural Australia.
Participants will enjoy lovely accommodation at Novotel Darwin, with the workshop taking place at Flinders University Rural Clinical School.
Selected participants will be funded for accommodation, travel and meals.
About the Rural Readiness workshop
Workshop attendees will be given the opportunity to learn from experts in the field, network with like-minded trainees, and more.
