Dr David Chapman

David is a consultant psychiatrist interested in adult ADHD, in women’s mental health, and in their intersection. He is a collaborator in the ADHD in Females Special Interest Group of the HER Centre Australia. He also provides clinical support in a number of research projects of the Turner Institute for Brain and Mental Health, Monash University. He was previously the consultant on the Mental Health Access Team of the Top End Mental Health Service in Darwin. He is Chair of the NT Branch Committee of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists, and a member of the Adult Faculty and ADHD Network Committees. He is a passionate advocate for improved mental health services in the NT. In a past life, David was a high school teacher, state advisor and Chief Moderator in South Australia, and this informs his understanding of ADHD in adults.
