Accessing flexible work models in healthcare settings is still a challenge and isn’t the norm.

This webinar convened a panel of doctors from different specialisations (psychiatry, physicians, and dermatology) who share their stories and innovative case studies about how to effectively implement flexible workplace practices in a variety of healthcare settings and teams, and how to sustainably continue a career in medicine after career breaks or life changes.

Our panel is joined by special guest Professor Helena Teede from Advancing Women in Healthcare Leadership to provide her expert insights into flexible work practices in healthcare settings, where change is happening or needs to happen, and what the research tells us about workplaces that embrace flexible working models for staff teams and clinicians.

This webinar event took place in the lead up to International Women’s Day 2024 and its theme of Count Her In – that examined pathways to greater economic inclusion for women and girls everywhere.

Delivered in collaboration with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Australasian College of Dermatologists.
