ACT Branch

The Australian Capital Territory Branch is responsible for providing membership engagement and Training opportunities for its members, under the guidance of the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) Branch Committee. The Branch also engages in advocacy activities with the aim to improve any issues arising in the ACT that affect the interests of College Fellows, Affiliates and Trainees, and overall mental health in the Territory.

Canberra Health Services Psychiatry Training Program

The ACT offers a Psychiatry training program that includes:

  • interesting placements
  • ongoing academic
  • exam support

The course is free and run by local clinicians and academics. You will receive protected time to attend the education program. You will receive exam preparation support and help, and supervision to complete the scholarly project research component of the psychiatry training program.
