While bringing a child into the world is a wonderful thing, it has always been a risky experience and recent studies indicate that up to 17% of parents are impacted by PTSD resulting from their birth experience.
This webinar, hosted by the Section of Perinatal and Infant Psychiatry, explored the literature around the prevalence and consequences of birth trauma, potential interventions to ameliorate the risk and the lived-experience perspective will also be represented.
