Solutions that work: What the evidence and our people tell us
Publishing organisation: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Suicide Prevention Evaluation Project
Year of publication: 2016
The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Suicide Prevention Evaluation Project was established with the collaboration of Indigenous community members, leaders in mental health and suicide prevention, and the Commonwealth Government to support the implementation of the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Suicide Prevention Strategy.
The final report, Solutions that work, summarises the evidence base for what works in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community-led suicide prevention, including universal, selective and indicated interventions. The report identifies the success factors for suicide prevention programs and presents a range of tools and resources to support suicide prevention activities.
