Applications are now open for SRSA Funding Round 5. Grants worth up to $10,000 are available to eligible rural specialists living and working in rural and remote Australia.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities can be undertaken with grant funding to support registration fees, travel, accommodation and meals.
Eligible CPD activities must be planned to be completed between 1 April 2020 to 30 April 2021.
Please visit the SRSA website for detailed information about Funding Round 5, including the application guidelines and application form. Applications close on 31 January 2020.
To see how other rural specialists are using their grants, we interviewed Dr Jesse Zanker FRACP, a Geriatrician working in Echuca, Victoria. Dr Zanker used his grant to attend The Executive Colloquium at the Cranlana Centre for Ethical Leadership.
The SRSA Program is funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and managed by the Council of Presidents of Medical Colleges.
