The RANZCP is pleased to launch the RANZCP Foundation’s 2021 Annual Review.

‘The 2021 RANZCP Foundation Annual Review illustrates the tremendous growth and ambition of the Foundation,’ said Professor Malcolm Hopwood, RANZCP Foundation Committee Chair.

‘A key highlight for the Foundation continues to be providing opportunities for College members to pursue their research ideas. In 2021, we expanded this support with our new RANZCP Foundation Catalyst Grants. We are delighted to share the innovative new research projects we have supported, all of which have great potential to improve mental health across a range of areas.

‘Further, we are excited to share the stories behind the new grants in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander mental health we established with College Fellows A/Prof Anne Sved Williams AM and Dr Alagappa Arumugam AM. These are both examples of how our members’ vision and generosity can help future generations of researchers.

‘On behalf of the RANZCP Foundation, I sincerely thank our donors and supporters, including the Trisno family and the Kinsman family, for their commitment to advancing the future of psychiatry and mental health.’

Please read about what we achieved in 2021, as well as our future directions, in our 2021 Annual Review today.
