It’s now easier to access and share articles from the College’s two journals

15 October 2019

The College is pleased to announce new ways to share access to journal articles online.

This will allow interesting full-text journal content from both the Australian and New Zealand Journal of Psychiatry and Australasian Psychiatry to be shared more widely.

As College members with subscriber access, you are now able to share read-only links to articles with your colleagues, even if they are not subscribers.

This applies to most ANZJP and Australasian Psychiatry articles published since 2011.

A link to an article can be shared:

  • via email to friends or colleagues
  • on social media sites, and
  • within scholarly collaboration networks

Each link is valid for 90 days and for most articles has no limit on the number of times it can be shared during that time period.

If you are an author, the new features will enhance greater discoverability of your content and enhance its impact.

When you are next viewing an article online, look for the ‘Share’ icon in the article menu box on the left hand side of the web page.
