As of January 2020, the ANZJP will move towards a primarily online format with print copies of each issue no longer automatically be sent to members.
A new e-reader feature has recently been launched for both the ANZJP and Australasian Psychiatry, which will enable readers to view articles in an enhanced EPUB format in addition to the existing HTML and PDF options.
The ANZJP will also be available to read as a digital full issue, in an interactive, PDF format via the Nxtbook platform.
Among other features, the new format will provide a better reading experience on mobile devices and tablets, the ability to navigate through articles with section headings, and the option to save articles easily for offline reading.
Members will continue to be informed of new issues of the ANZJP via monthly Table of Contents email alerts, as well as other regular updates on the College website and in newsletters.
Keep an eye out for more details over the coming months on how to access the journals using the new e-reader feature.
Further details on how to opt in to print editions for either or both ANZJP and Australasian Psychiatry will be communicated shortly.
