RANZCP partners with Black Dog Institute to develop e-health hub to support frontline health workers

02 September 2020

The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists is proud to have partnered with Black Dog Institute in the development of TEN – The Essential Network, an e-health hub that supports the mental health of Australia’s essential frontline health workers during COVID-19.

Designed by health professionals for health professionals, TEN is a free app and website that provides fast and confidential access to evidence-based tools, resources and programs for stress, anxiety and depression. At the core is an online clinic screening tool designed to recommend relevant resources and online tools based on report outcomes, as well as triage and referral to one-on-one clinical consultations for health workers experiencing higher levels of stress.

Led by the Black Dog Institute, the RANZCP was part of the group of expert organisations who came together to develop this innovative service from the federal government’s $1.4 million package to support the mental health and wellbeing of health workers during the pandemic.
