#GettingThroughThisTogether

With new evidence emerging around the impacts of pandemic lockdowns and continued restrictions are having on groups who are uniquely affected, and how particular social and economic stressors are impacting most on mental health and wellbeing, the RANZCP is pleased to support the National Mental Health Commission’s initiative #GettingThroughThisTogether.

This program builds on the success of the #InThisTogether which launched earlier this year in phase one of the pandemic, and acknowledges the stressors and difficulties of COVID-19.

Importantly, #GettingThroughThisTogether acknowledges the reality of the longevity of COVID-19, the fatigue that many are experiencing, and the impact of uncertainty on Australians mental health and wellbeing. It also recognises that when we know how difficult something is, it is usually harder the second time.
