The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists congratulates its Fellows and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on receiving the World Psychiatric Association's (WPA) Honorary Membership at the WPA World Congress in Berlin.
‘Honorary Membership to the WPA is an important recognition of an individual’s hard work and contribution to psychiatry and mental health,’ said RANZCP President Dr Kym Jenkins.
‘This is one of the highest honours that the WPA can bestow on an individual, and the RANZCP is proud to have so many of its Fellows recognised,’ she said.
- Professor Malcolm Hopwood, Professor of Psychiatry with Ramsay Health Care at the University of Melbourne and Clinical Director, Professorial Psychiatry Unit at the Albert Road Clinic, and former president of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists
- Professor Ian Everall, Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Melbourne
- Dr Francis Agnew, Pasifika psychiatrist and Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit
- Mr Andrew Peters, Chief Executive Officer of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists.
