Latest updates

  • Specialist assessment interviews will not take place for at least six months. Applications for specialist assessment will no longer be accepted via post, and instead must be emailed. Read more >

  • A recording of the webinar 'Implementing practical telehealth in psychiatry' presented by Professor Richard Harvey and Dr Cybele Dey is now available to view.

  • As of Monday 20 April, psychiatrists and other medical specialists can choose to bulk-bill OR patient bill all MBS COVID-19 telehealth consultations. Also announced were new psychiatry telehealth and telephone service items for group psychotherapy services (equivalent to MBS items 342, 344, 346).
